An arrest has been made in the murder of Charles Wash of Decatur.
"We have charged Marcus O'Neil Flowers, 27 of Hickory with murder," Newton County Sheriff Jackie Knight said. " Flowers is being held at the Newton County Sheriff's Department where he is awaiting an initial appearance tomorrow."
