NEWTON Newton Municipal Schools will have their 2008 Newton High School homecoming festivities on Friday where they will be hosting the Kemper County Wildcats at E.L. Morgan Field.

The festivities will begin with a bonfire pep rally at the practice field in front of the high school on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and chicken plates will be available for $5.

The festivities on Friday will begin with a parade downtown at 4 p.m., followed by a fall festival at Morgan Field starting at 5 p.m. and going until 6:30 p.m.

At 6:30 p.m., the homecoming court for 2008 will be introduced and game time is 7 p.m.
