James Matthew Walley
Services for James Matthew Walley will be held Wednesday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at Hopewell Methodist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday March 13 from 5-9 p.m at Webb Funeral Home and will lie in state at the Church 30 minutes before service with the Rev. Bill Hutto officiating, with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Walley, 28, of Newton died March 11, 2007 in Lauderdale County.
Survivors include: Parents; Gloria and Randall Walley, Newton, two brothers; Randall Lee and his wife Helen Walley, Pineville, Mississippi, Andrew Brian Walley, Newton, grandparents; Naomi Walley, Rose Hill, Ms, two nieces; Sharlee Breanna Walley, Forest, Helen Michelle Walley, Pineville, Ms, one nephew; Justin Lee Walley, Pineville, Ms.
He was employed in the Polly Department at La-Z-Boy Chair Company. Walley was born in Newton and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Pallbearers will be Lee Walley, Andrew Walley, Blue Deason, Pat Solitro, Rassie Walley, Thomas Smith, Timmy Carroll and Bill Kennedy.
John A. Brown
Mr. John A. Brown , 69, died Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Hospice In His Hands in Madden. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2007 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest with burial in Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Larry Laird officiated.
Winston Delano
Draughon, Jr.
Mr. Winston Delano Draughon, Jr., 39, of Newton died on March 18 at his residence. He was born on October 3, 1967. His occupation was a horse jockey.
Services will be held Friday, March 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Movella Trinity Pentecostal Church. Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. at George County Funeral Home Parlor.
He is survived by one son; William Dewayne and wife Lisa Draughon of Mobile, parents; Winston Sr. and Carolyn Draughon of Newton, brother; Darrell and wife Ann Draughon of Mobile, three sisters; Karen and husband David Baldwin of Mobile, Rhonda and husband Darren Estis of Lucedale, Brenda and husband Shannon Richie of Wilmer, Alabama.
Pallbearers are Robert McCullough, Brandon McCullough, Jimmy Lofton, Jeffrey Draughon, Daniel Estis, and David Baldwin.
