Christopher Logan Stewart
Funeral services for Christopher Logan Stewart were held Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 2 p.m. at James F. Webb Chapel with the Reverend Ira Bradshaw officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery in Lake. James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton was in charge of arrangements.
Master Stewart, 1 year old, of Decatur, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at University Medical Center in Jackson. He had a beautiful smile and loved to play with his daddy and sissy, take walks to his granny’s house and make Nascar wheelies in the kitchen floor with his bottom. He loved his family and brought them much joy.
He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Stewart; father, Christopher Stewart; sister, Breanna Lee Stewart all of Decatur, John W. Sanders, Sr. of Meridian, great grandparents; Danny and Joyce Daniels, Donald and Barbara Addy; uncles; Jason Sanders, Shaun Addy and John Sanders, Jr.; aunts; Kimberly James, Donna Fairchild and Kristi Sanders. Several cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Lettie V. Sanders; great grandfather, William Lee Stewart; great great grandfather, Luther Williamson.
Pallbearers were Derek Havard and Shaun Addy. Honorary pallbearer was Jason Sanders.
Willie Lee Lathem
Funeral services for Willie Lee Lathem will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30,, 2007, at
Decatur United Methodist Church with Rev. Johnny Crosby officiating. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lathem, 67, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007, at his residence in Decatur.
Survivors include his wife, Satah Lathem, of Decatur; two daughters, Teresa Shepherd and husband, George, of Little Rock and Rachel Rainer and husband, Travis, of Decatur; two-step-sons, Dannuy Estes and wife, Judy, of Decatur and David Estes of Union; nine grandchildren and very special cousin Cleo McKinnion and wife, Marsha, of Brandon.
Mr. Lathem was preceded in death by his father, G.W. Lathem and mother, Junnie Lathem. He was a member of Decatur United Methodist Church. He was retired from the Air National Guard and was presently Chief of Security at East Central Community College.
Richard Earl Holsonback
Funeral services for Richard Earl Holsonback will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Poplar Springs Baptist Shurch with the Rev. John West officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Springs Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Holsonback of Newton, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at his residence. He was an employee of the U.S. Postal Service and a deacon at Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Holsonback of Newton; son, Larry Holsonback and his girlfriend, Toni Smith of Alabama; daughter, Stephanie Little and her husband, Jessie, of Alabama; grandson, Austin Holsonback and granddaughter, Jessieka Little; two brothers, Albert Holsonback and his wife, Maria, of Florida and Ron Holsonback and his wife, Mijin, of Newton; one sister, Donna Harris and her husband, Ronnie, of Hickory; two nephews, Walter Holsonback and Dustin Harris; two nieces, Kelsey Harris and Sarah Holsonback; and four honorary grandchildren, Whitney Pate, Lauren Pate, Courtney Pate and Damon Posten.
He was preceded in death by his parents Grace and Bill Holsonback.
Pallbearers will be William Lucy, Cliff Ricahrdson, Jim Pendergest, Chris Wall, Tim Mowdy and Steve Stephens.
