Edward Joseph Bond
Funeral services for Edward Joseph Bond were held Thursday, May 31, 2007 at James F. Webb Chapel with the Revs. Jack Giles and Ralph Henson officiating. Burial was in the Carr Methodist Church Cemetery in Smith County. James F. Webb Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Rose Davis Fritch
Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Davis Fritch were held Friday, June 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Antioch Christian Church with the Rev. Doctor John Cash officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Christian Church Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fritch, 90, of Newton died Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at Bedford Care Center.
She is survived by her husband, Lloyd L. Fritch, son; Gary Fritch and wife, Laura of Aberdeen, two grandchildren; Tommy Fritch and wife, Veda of New Albany, and Lee Ann Fritch of New Albany, three great-grandchildren; Ashley Fritch, Edwin Fritch and Beth Fritch; one adopted son, Don Wilhelm and wife, Senita of Lawrence; brother, Elward Davis and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Cleveland, Theron Harris, Dale Harris, Jerry Williams, Charles Kelly and Brian Kelly.
Irene Gatewood
Mrs. Irene Gatewood, 90, of Lake, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Bedford Care Center in
Newton. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2007 at Pine
Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. The Revs. Larry Laird and Victor Bugg officiated. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest handled
arrangements.
