Lola Kate McLemore
Services for Lola Kate McLemore were held Wednesday June 21, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Bluff Springs Church of God with the Brother Jeff Hancock officiating.
Visitation was Tuesday June 20 from 6 until 9 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home. Burial was in Wheatfield Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home of Union in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Willie Pullin, Mark Pullin, Dale Germany, Edward Germany, Fred Germany and Wade Marrow.
Mrs. McLemore, 78, of Union died Monday, June 19 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson.
She was a retired chicken farmer.
Survivors include: daughter, Elizabeth “Libby” Kate Strickland and husband Jery of Union; two grand children: Jerry Christopher Strickland and wife Joni of Union; James Bryan Strickland and wife Kim of Union; four great grandchildren: Lucas Strickland; Andrew Strickland; MaKayla Strickland; Christopher Gaston Strickland; two sisters: Pauline Gomillion; Ruthlene Chance; two brothers: Grady Pullin and Raymond Pullin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon James McLemore.
She was a member of Bluff Springs Church of God, loved growing beautiful flowers and loving her grandchildren.

Donna M. Clark
Donna M. Clark, 50, died Thursday, June 22, 2006, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2006, at Sand Ridge Baptist Church with burial in Dennis Cemetery. Rev. James McMillan and Rev. Ryan Culpepper officiated.
Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest was in charge of arrangements.

Emma D. Hardy
Services for Emma D. Hardy, 93, of Newton were held June 15, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Sylvester United Methodist Church with former Pastor James Hare officiating. Burial was at the Church Cemetery with Mapp Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her two daughters, Jimmie Robinson of Newton and Dorothy Thomas of Gary, Ind., eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She also leaves two son in laws, Clint Robinson of Newton, Curtis Thomas of Gary, Ind., a special niece, Johnnie McClellan of Los Angelas, Calif., special nephews, Charles Nicholes and Sidney Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hardy, her parents, two sons, James Sidney Hardy and Wallace Bolton, one brother, Willie Bynum, five sisters, Gloria, Ruth, Laura, Ruby and Ada and one special nephew, Alton Bynum.
Emma was born December 13, 1913 in Garlandville. She was a member of Sylvester United Methodist Church here in Newton where she enjoyed attending until her health failed.
