Odelle Adams
Services for Ms. Odelle Adams were held Friday, July 14 at 11 a.m. at Clark-Venable Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Vincent officiating. Burial was in Decatur Cemetery with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Adams was a retired florist and a long time member of Clark-Venable Baptist Church in Decatur. She was the former owner of Decatur Flower Shop and long time resident of Decatur.
Survivors include her nephews, Dr. Denton Goodwin and wife Barbara of Demopolis, Ala. and Harold Goodwin and wife Emy of Pascagoula, her sister, Corliss Ritchie of Pascagoula.

Bessie Carlene
Graham Walker
Services for Mrs. Bessie Carlene Graham Walker will be held Thursday, July 20 at 10 a.m. at Graveside Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Brice Evans officiating. Visitation will be held today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home. Burial will be in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with Webb Funeral Home of Newton in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Walker, 84, of Brookhaven, died on July 17, 2006.
Survivors include: two sons, George Hayward Walker and Thomas Lyndon and his wife Martha Jo Walker , both of Brookhaven; one sister, June and her husband Clyde Ricketts of Meridian; eight grandchildren, Vince and his wife Becky Walker of Brookhaven; Chris and his wife Kim Walker of Brookhaven; George and his wife Amanda Walker of Brookhaven; Chase Walker of Brookhaven; Ryan and his wife Kachelle Walker of Hattiesburg; Scott and his wife Tiffany Walker of Purvis and Anna Kate Walker of Gulfport and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, T.J. Walker; brothers, Warren, Luis, Hubert, Wilbur and Billy Graham; parents, John and Nancy McGee Graham.
She was a homemaker who was born in Newton County and a member of Liberty Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Walker, Vince Walker, Chris Walker, George Walker, Ronnie Watson and Zachary Watson.

Eloise Gary Davis
Eloise Gary Davis, 92, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born November 21, 1913, to Charlie Gary and Ella Doolittle Gary. She was a homemaker and long time resident of Newton, and recent resident of Dogwood Plantation in Fulton. She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist Church of Newton County, with the distinction of being the oldest living member upon her death. She enjoyed working puzzles and keeping in touch with family and friends via phone and letters.
Services were held Saturday, July 1, 2006, at Webb Funeral Home Chapel in Newton with the Rev. John West officiating. Burial was held in the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Jimmie Toberny and her husband Louis of Dallas, TX and Jessie Ruth Wall and her husband Dock of Mantachie; six grandchildren: Mike Blackwell of Dallas, TX.; Jennifer Ismail of Dallas, TX.; Greg Wall and his wife, Stacy, of Fulton; Sonia Alford and her husband, Mike, of Tupelo; Randy Wall of Tupelo, and Eric Wall of Lafayette, La. Six great grandchildren: Fayruoz Ismail, Sarah Ismail, Talal Ismail, Chandler Davis Wall, Lyndsey Grace Alford and Sydney Clair Alford.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Gary, Ella Doolittle Gary and her stepmother, Sarah Harrison Gary; her husband, Jim Eugene Davis; one son, Taylor Eugene Davis; three sisters, Annie Lou Spence, Martilde Carr and Tommy Loudermilk.
Pallbearers were Mike Blackwell, Greg Wall, Randy Wall, Eric Wall, Mike Alford, Lewis Earl Everett and Ras Jones. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Montgomery and Earl Bolton.

Robert Lee Alexander
Robert Lee Alexander, 93, died Thursday, July 13. 2006 at Laird’s Hospital in Union.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 16 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest with burial in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Leon Everett officiated.
