Services for Mrs. Marlene Brody were held on Sept. 8. James F. Webb Funeral Home of Newton was in charge of arrangements. Her body was cremated.
Mrs. Brody, 68, lived in Meridian and was a former resident of Newton.
Survivors include two nephews: Raymond Dickson of Newton and LeRoy Dickson of Newton.
Brody was a retired waitress for BP Truckstop in Lake. She was born in Mass. and served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
