James Roger Graham
James Roger Graham, age 86, of Newnan, passed away on Friday, Nov. 22, 2007 in Warm Springs, Ga. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Beth and Frank Lever of Newnan, sons and wives, Jim and Mary Lee Graham of Ackworth, Ga. and David and Ann Graham of Sycamore, Ill.; grandchildren, Jim Graham, Kelsey Graham, Megan Graham, Michael Graham; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Alex Graham, sisters, Frances Edwards and Marian Thornton. Mr. Graham was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Maxwell Sumrall
Services for Maxwell Sumrall were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Erin Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Bro. Sam Foreman and Bro. Bobby Barfoot officiated.
Sumrall, 69, passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 at Hilltop Manor Nursing Home in Union.
Survivors include; a daughter, Debra Fields of Union, a son, Rondell Sumrall and wife Melissa of Union, four grandchildren, Angela Carnell and husband Matt of Hernando, Heather Dixon and husband Stevie of Brandon, Scott Fields of Clearwater Beach, Fla., Natalie Fields of Decatur and a great-grandson, Zack Carnell of Hernando, four sisters; Lodena Richmond of Walnut Grove, Ala. Enlow of Walnut Grove, Carolyn Pettigrew of Jackson, Reba Gunn of Pelahatchie. He was survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Janie Sumrall, a son, Timothy Sumrall, two brothers and two sisters.
Sumrall was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was former supervisor of Beat 3 in Newton County and also a former Presbyterian Pastor for 10 to 12 years.
Pallbearers were: David Gentry, Gaddis Yates, David Moulds, Don Ming and Neal Ferrell.
