William “Billy” Kilpatrick Sr.
Services for William “Billy” Kilpatrick, Sr. were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2007 at Center Ridge Baptist Church with burial in the Providence Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. James McMillan, Rev. Jackie Strebeck and Rev. Jack Kurn officiated.
Kilpatrick, 72, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007 at his residence (8567 Chucky-Duffee R. Little Rock, Ms).
Survivors: Loving wife of 45 years; Betty Kilpatrick of Little Rock, four daughters; Donna Faye Rowan of Georgia, Melissa “Sissy” Boyd, Amanda Alexander and Shelia Massey all of Little Rock, three sons; Tommy Lee Kilpatrick of Lake Park, GA, Joe Wayne Kilpatrick of Nashville, GA and William Kilpatrick, Jr., of Philadelphia, five sisters; Evelyn Whaley, Lavenia Talent, Jeanette Purvis, Etoil Williams from Georgia and Betty Thomas of Florida, three brothers, Marvin Kilpatrick of Florida, Randy Kilpatrick and Walter Kilpatrick of Georgia.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Twelve grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Kilpatrick was preceded in death by a grandson, Jody Rowan, parents, two sisters and one brother.
He was a member of Center Ridge Baptist Church. He spent his life enjoying fishing and all kinds of hunting.
Pallbearers were: Danny Alexander, David Alexander, Joe Alexander, Michael Alexander, Richard Hillhouse and Jeremy Clearman.
Margaret H. Feldman
Newton - Graveside services for Margaret H. Feldman were held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Newton County Memorial Gardens with Father Billy Cullen officiating. Burial was in Newton County Memorial Gardens with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Feldman, 85, of Laurel, formerly of Newton, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at Comfort Care Nursing Center in Laurel. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Survivors include her sister, Marie Harrington, her brother, Joseph Harrington, her daughter, Judy Feldman Gibbs, her son, Dennis Feldman, two granddaughters, Shannon Gibbs and Brittany Gibbs, two grandsons, Shaun Gibbs and Tyler Feldman, eight nieces and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Feldman, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Harrington. Visitation was held Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Newton. A rosary service began at 12:30 p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Pallbearers were Brett Feldman, Lee Feldman, David Feldman, Tyler Feldman, Shaun Gibbs and Howard Johnston.
Annie Lois Richardson
Homemaker Decatur - Funeral services for Annie Lois Richardson were held Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Revs. Leon Everett, Bowman Giles and Justin Chaney officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Richardson, 91, of Decatur, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be missed by many. Survivors include two sons, Royce Richardson and his wife, Sara, and Hubert Richardson and his wife, Dianne, all of Decatur, two daughters, Jean Nelson, of Lawrence and Florine Addy, of Decatur, three sisters, Katie Patterson, Lucille Pinson and Lula Mae Watkins, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otho Richardson, her son-in-law, Durward Nelson, her parents, Algie and Pearlie Gibbs Hollingsworth, and her brothers, Marshall Hollingsworth and Otis Hollingsworth. Pallbearers were Wayne Nelson, Wendell Nelson, Ken Richardson, Tim Richardson, Anthony Richardson and Josh Richardson.
Elbert Mapp
Funeral services for Elbert Mapp will be held today at 1 p.m. at Prilgrim Rest MB Church in Decatur with the Rev. Willie Rush officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery with Clark’s Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mapp, 92, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at Laird Hospital in Union.
