Douglas Wayne Sullings
Visitation for the cremation of Douglas Wayne Sullings was held at Milling Funeral Home in Union on Friday, Nov. 10, 2006.
Sullings, 59, of Decatur was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle Pierce and her husband Jimmy of Decatur: a son, Michael Wayne Sullings and his wife Salina Kay of Chunky; and his mother, Helen Sullings of Las Vegas.
Sullings was preceded in death by his father William R. Sullings.
Pam J. Boyette
MERIDIAN – Services for Pam J. Boyette were held Monday at Barham Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Carl White officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Barham in charge.
Mrs. Boyette, 53, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Boyette of Meridian; her children, Stephanie Smith and her husband, Ray, of Quitman, and Molly Espey and her husband Robert, of Enterprise; a God-child, Sterling Garrett of Meridian; grandchildren, Madison Embrey, Jacob Smith and Shelton Espey; her parents, J. Wilbur Walker and Grace Motley Walker of Hickory; brothers, Donald Walker and his wife, D.J., of Brandon, Johnny H. Walker and his wife, Debby, and Tommy W. Walker and his wife, Joan, all of Hickory; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bea Walker, formerly of Meridian.
Mrs. Boyette worked in the Child Development Center at Highland Baptist Church. She was the previous owner of her own day care, The Little Village. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. She loved her job and the children. She and her husband also were paper carriers for The Meridian Star newspaper.
Ludie Bland Allbrook
PHILADELPHIA — Services for Ludie Bland Allbrook were held Sunday at Smith Chapel Church of God of Prophecy in Neshoba County with the Revs. Linda Holcomb and Larry Joyner officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery with McClain – Hays Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Allbrook, 88, of House, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.
Survivors include her daughter, Bettye Frazier and her husband, Dale, of House; a son, Danny Allbrook and his wife, Nancy, of House; grandchildren, Eddie Gilbert of North Dakota, Toyyua Mazzella of Newton and Tracy Allbrook of House; step-grandchildren, Renae Hillhouse and RoxAnne Rigdon, both of Little Rock; great-grandchildren; Sara Beth Mazzella and Ethan Moore; step-great-grandchildren, Anthony Crabtree, Kevin Reed, Brett Reed, Trevor Hillhouse, Regan Hillhouse, Jack Rigdon and Eli Rigdon; and a niece, Jane Muellar.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Bettie Bland; and sisters, Lorena Thames and Lillian Commer.
She was a native and longtime resident of the Herbert Springs community in Neshoba County. She was a member of Smith Chapel Church of God of Prophecy.
Pallbearers were Henry Butler, Trent Butler, Jeff Rigdon, Davey Moore, Stan Harris and Jimmy Harris.
Visitation will be held Sunday one hour prior to the service at the church.
Juanita Evans Sheely
NEWTON — Services for Juanita Evans Sheely were be held Sunday at James F. Webb Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Mark Vincent officiating. Burial will be in Conehatta Methodist Church Cemetery with Webb in charge.
Mrs. Sheely, 83, of Newton, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, at Bedford Care Center.
Survivors include her daughter, Joy Munn; four sons, Tommy Sheely, Joe Sheely, Jarell Sheely and David Sheely; two sisters, Clarice Knight and Janette Evans; and five granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Sheely Sr.; and her parents, Barrett and Lillian Byrd Evans.
Visitation was held Saturday at the funeral home and Sunday prior to the service.
