McDill-Kenna to wed June 14

Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Layne McDill of Decatur announce the engagement of their daughter, Kery Layne, to Drew Chapman Kenna, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Eugene Kenna, Jr. of Forest.
The couple will exchange vows at 11 a.m. on June 14 at Conehatta Baptist Church in Conehatta.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Thomas William Reeves of Decatur and the late Mr. Reeves, and Mrs. Roy Dean McDill of Decatur and the late Mr. McDill.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Walter Chapman of Newton and Mrs. Joseph Eugene Kenna of McComb and the late Mr. Kenna.
Miss McDill is a 2002 highest honors graduate of Newton County High School and a 2004 graduate of East Central Community College. She graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2006, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in educational psychology. Miss McDill will receive a Master of Science degree in counselor education from MSU in May.
Mr. Kenna is a 2002 highest honors graduate of Forest High School and a 2004 graduate of East Central Community College. He graduated cum laude from Mississippi State University in 2006, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in risk management, insurance, and financial planning. While at MSU, he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Mr. Kenna is employed as a loan officer with the Bank of Forest.
A reception will be held at the church following the ceremony.
Family and friends are invited to attend.
