Archer-Stampley to marry in October

Melissa Anne Archer and Matthew Lee Stampley of Brandon, announce their engagement to be married October 11, 2008, in a 1 pm ceremony at the Luckett Lodge Chapel in Brandon.
Melissa is the daughter of Mr. Jim and Mrs. Beverly Roberts of Newton and the late Gerald Archer.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr.and Mrs.Ray Fisackerly of Newton; and Mr. John Archer of Cookeville, Tennessee and the late Mrs. Archer.
Miss Archer is a graduate of Mandeville High School in Mandeville, Louisiana. She is a 2004 graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree is nursing. She is em-ployed at University of Mississippi Medical Center as a registered nurse.
Matthew is the son of Mr. Tommy and Mrs. Barbara Stampley of Canton. He is the grandson of the Mrs. Charles Calloway of Magee and the late Mr. Calloway; and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stampley of Columbia.
Mr. Stampley is a graduate of Clinton High School. He is a 2002 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is a residential and commercial foundation contractor.
