Wilson-Pompelia to wed October 25

NEWTON — Mr. and Mrs. Aaron K. Wilson of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Cole Elizabeth Wilson to Dr. Michael Tyson Pompelia, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael J. Pompelia of St. Clair Shores, MI, and Mr. Don D. Nester and the late Mrs. Christy W. Nester of Meridian.

The wedding will be Saturday, the 25th of October 2008 at 5:30 P. M. at NorthPark Church located at 7770 Highway 39 North in Meridian.

Miss Wilson is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Starlen A. Wilson of DeKalb, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Miller of Louisville.

The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

While attending USM, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and graduated with highest honors.

Miss Wilson is employed by Rush Foundation Hospital.

Dr. Pompelia is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Boyd Williamson of Decatur and the late Mrs Mary Katherine Pompelia and Mr. Emmett Eugene (Geno) Pompelia of Meridian, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard N. Nester, and Mrs. Rachel Nester all of Meridian.

The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Meridian High School and Meridian Community College. He received a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Mississippi State University-College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Pompelia is employed by Seal-Laird Veterinary Hospital.

A reception will be held at The Gathering Place.
