Todd-Myers to marry Nov. 8

NEWTON — Rachel Rowell of Bay Springs and Randy Todd of Cookeville, TN, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter April Ann Todd to Kerry Lee Myers, son of Ricky and Connie Myers of Newton.

The bride elect is the granddaughter of the late Kirman and Doye Duckworth of Bay Springs and the late Earl and Nina Todd of Big Creek. Miss Todd is a 1999 graduate of Bay Springs High School and a 2004 graduate of Meridian Community College.

She is currently employed  with Rush Foundation Hospital as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department.

Mr. Myers is the grandson of Mrs. Iona Leslie of Newton and the late R.L. Leslie; and Mrs. Sara Myers of Newton and the late Lamar Myers.

The bridegroom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Newton County Academy.

He is a member of the 186th Air Refuelin Wing, Mississippi Air National Guard, and is employed as a firefighter at Naval Air Station, Meridian.

Wedding vows will be exchanged Saturday, November 8, at 5 p.m. in the evening at Big Creek Wildlife in Hattiesburg.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
