Scott–Godwin to wed December 13

NEWTON — Brandy Kizzire Scott and Adam Kiel Godwin announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride elect is the daughter of Jerry and Gail Kizzire of Fayette, Alabama. Ms Scott attended the University of Alabama, where she received a Bachelors degree of Environmental Science. She is currently employed by Southern Farm Bureau Tech as the Registrar.

The prospective groom is the son of Charles and Bettye Godwin of Newton. Mr. Godwin attended Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Agri-Business. He is currently employed by Mississippi Farm Bureau as a claims adjuster.

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 13, at First Baptist Church Newton at 5 o’clock in the evening.

A dessert reception will immediately follow in the church Family Life Building.

All family and friends are invited to attend.
